Harshad Sharma has quit Meridian Communications, Mumbai as Senior Creative Director. He has tied up with K&V Media to form an ATL agency, SK&V Communications. He will also serve on the board and as creative head of K&V Media.
Speaking on the movement, Sharma said, “The decision was a no brainer. I always wanted to be an entrepreneur. I’ve partnered friends I’ve worked with and trusted all my working life. Partnering an agency ensures that you have people and clients to work with from day one.”
At SK&V Communications, Sharma brings his ATL and film making expertise into BTL projects too, thus raising the bar. SK&V Communications has already picked up the 360 degree businesses of Saint Gobain Weber and Gesture Jeans. The campaigns have been produced and are slated to be released soon.

Sharma has over 16 years’ experience in advertising. He has worked on various brands like Tata Sons (corporate), Taj Group of Hotels, Nutrela, Hyundai Santro (launch), Escorts Tractors, ITC (shampoos), 9X TV, NewsX, Colgate Dental Cream, Dell Computers, Panasonic, Sony, H & R Johnson, Montblanc Pens, Novino Batteries, Ray-Ban, Dainik Bhaskar and Indian Express Group, among others. He is currently penning his first book, tentatively titled ‘Randonmess’.
K&V Media has so far primarily had its core competence in media buying, planning, events, activation, retail and OOH. It is the media AOR for AICC for the State Elections till 2014.
