M&C Saatchi expands service offering; Sumantra Sengupta made CEO of Direct and Digital offering

M&C Saatchi has forayed into direct and digital communication services. Sumantra Sengupta, formerly Senior VP & GM, RMG Connect, Mumbai and Bangalore, has joined as CEO of the newly-formed M&C Saatchi Direct & Digital. Sengupta brings with him 22 years of integrated communication experience across several markets and clients.

Aiding him in the Digital sphere is Sumanta Ganguly, a digital and direct marketing professional who has garnered experience from both the client and agency sides of the table.

M&C Saatchi Direct and Digital will also benefit from the mentoring and guidance of Rakhshin Patel, former CEO of RMG Connect, in her role as a Director of the company.

“We are off to a dream start having notched up business wins across verticals such as realty, banking, retail and Web 2.0 media,” said Sengupta.

With its aggressive growth plans and new business wins, M&C Saatchi Direct & Digital is looking at expanding its team.
