Rajeev Sabnis has joined DDB Mudra as President of their India operations. Prior to this, he was with M&C Saatchi Communications as Executive Director. At DDB Mudra, Sabnis would focus on growing the agency and building a team across offices. He will also look to partner Indian clients who can benefit from the vast global network of DDB.
Commenting on Sabnis’ appointment, Sandeep Vij, CEO, DDB Mudra Group, said, “DDB Mudra Group is already an established player with the soul of a start-up, and with Rajiv’s formidable experience in growing large established offices as well as start-ups, the connect is perfect.”

In his 23 years’ experience in the industry, Sabnis has worked with four multinational agencies and handled sectors like FMCG, consumer durables, media and entertainment, automobiles, retail amongst many others. Key brands that he has worked for include P&G Healthcare, Lakme, Cadbury, Shaw Wallace, Mahindra & Mahindra - Tractors, JK Tyres, HSBC Bank, Singapore Airlines and Asian Paints.
He began his career with Everest Advertising Group. In the eight years with Everest, he was also elevated to head of their Chennai operations. He followed it with successful stints at Contract Advertising as senior Vice President and Office Head - Mumbai and as Chief Operating Officer at Ambience Publicis.
