Maneesh Mathur promoted as COO of P9 Integrated

Maneesh Mathur, Associate Vice President-Media Services at P9 Integrated, has been promoted as Chief Operating Officer of the company. Mathur had joined the company in December 2005 as GM, Media Services, and in a span of one year he was escalated to AVP, Media Services.

As COO, Mathur would cater to both corporate and brands as well as the entertainment fraternity to garner business and would be responsible for overseeing all the verticals of P9 Integrated – viz. media planning and buying, branding, advertising strategy and publicity design, Bollywood-based syndicated content, film merchandising, cinema and multiplex activation, and institutional sales, among others.

Navin Shah, CEO, P9 Integrated, said, “Maneesh has been the key resource of P9 Integrated and has been dominant in the super success story of our company. He has played a pivotal role in upgrading the talent pool of the company from 15 to a team of 100 people. Under his leadership, P9 has diversified into different allied businesses and has grown to be a 360-degree entertainment oriented organisation. We are optimistic that with his sharp business acumen and strategic leadership skill, we are poised to be a global player in the entertainment marketing space with a total billing turnover of Rs 20 billion in the next three years.”

Mathur said, “I thank my CEO and my team for entrusting me with such a huge responsibility; it indeed would be a challenging opportunity to drive the profitable verticals of the company into newer heights. P9 has a strong presence in India with four offices all over the country and is all set to have a global footprint by shortly commencing operations in the US, the UK, UAE and other countries that have a large Indian Diaspora.”

Mathur has been instrumental in growing the company from a turnover of Rs 50 million to Rs 1 billion at present. He has been responsible in conceptualising, designing and setting up the media planning and buying vertical of P9 Integrated. He was mandatory in getting P9 signed as an agency of record for several prominent brands and advertisers under this umbrella.

He began his career with O&M in 1999. He joined Madison Communications in 2003 as Head of Media Buying for Coca-Cola. After a two-year stint with Madison, he joined Broadmind Mindshare, Mumbai, in 2005 and set up their media division called Cube M.
