Manajit Ghoshal joins Viking Ventures as Group CEO

Manajit Ghoshal has joined Viking Ventures as Group CEO. Ghoshal has confirmed the development to exchange4media. He had quit Mid Day Multimedia on March 1, 2013 as MD and CEO.

Viking Ventures has interests in FMCG, media entertainment, beverages, technology, trade and food venture in India. Sachin Joshi is the Chairman and Managing Director of the company.

An MBA in sales and marketing, a Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant and Company Secretary, Ghoshal has worked in varied sectors, including auditing, consulting, software and pharmaceuticals before joining Mid Day Multimedia. Ghoshal began his career in 1994 with KPMG Group and went on to work with Cadbury. He started his own dotcom venture in 2000 before foraying into mainstream media industry.
