Management changes at Ad Club Mumbai

With the completion of its tenure, The Ad Club Mumbai is seeing a management change. M G Parameswaran steps down as President, giving way to Kalpana Rao as President and BCCL’s Bhaskar Das as Vice President. The change is effective from July 1, 2005.

In the present state of affairs, Kalpana Rao is the Vice president and Das is the secretary of the club. The election processes for the new management completed last month. In the new phase, Ajay Chandwani, Percept H, CEO, who is currently joint secretary, will become secretary. While Apurva Purohit will become joint secretary, Eureka Forbes’ S K Palekar will be the treasurer.

The Ad Club Mumbai is the largest advertising club in the world. In his tenure as the president, Parameswaran had brought in various initiatives that not only strengthened Ad Club as an industrial body but also ensured its place in the generation next of advertising professionals.
