Madison Media appoints Ruby Bana as Chief Strategy & Insights Officer

Madison Media has brought on board Ruby Bana as Chief Strategy and Insights Officer for its Bangalore office. Bana’s last assignment was with Havas Media, where she was Chief Intelligence Officer for Havas Media APAC Region. She was based in India, but covered the territory of India, China, Indonesia, Australia, India, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia.

She has over 17 years of experience in media, spanning strategic planning, insights and hardcore media planning and buying, working with media agencies like Havas Media, Maxus and GroupM. She has worked on a wide spectrum of brands ranging from Danone, Reckitt Benckiser to Britannia, Titan, Himalaya, Phillips, Shoppers Stop, Mitsubishi and many others.

Commenting on Bana’s appointment, Punitha Arumugam, Group CEO, Madison Media, said, “I look forward to Ruby enhancing our current offering with a strong qualitative perspective, backed by consumer insights and relevant research partnerships. In addition to driving our strategic product on key accounts, Ruby will also focus on building our knowledge centre for critical consumer segments.”

At the Emvies Awards held earlier this month, Madison Media had won 10 Awards, including two Golds, one Silver and seven Bronze awards. The media agency handles media planning and buying for blue chip clients, including Airtel, Godrej, Kraft Foods, ITC, General Motors, Marico, McDonald’s TVS, Britannia, Procter & Gamble, Asian Paints, Tata Tea, Pidilite, Shriram Transport Finance, Levis, SpiceJet, Axis Bank, Domino’s, Bharti Axa, MaxNewyork Life Insurance, Tata Salt, Acer, Dish TV, Imagine TV, Times Television Network, and IndianOil, among others. The gross billing of Madison Media is Rs 3,000 crore.
