Lowe Lintas announces new structure; Arun Iyer, Amer Jaleel appointed as NCDs

Lowe Lintas India has restructured the agency. To start with, Arun Iyer and Amer Jaleel have been appointed as National Creative Directors with immediate effect and have the responsibility of managing the creative product of the agency between them. R Balki will continue to head the agency as Chairman.

The new restructuring is not only limited to Iyer and Jaleel alone. New roles have been assigned to Madhu Noorani, Deepa Krishnan, Rajesh Ramaswamy, Abhijit Ghosh and Ashwin Varkey.

In addition to handling the responsibilities of J&J and other key regional brands of Unilever, Noorani will be the Chief Creative Planner on some of the key businesses. It is understood that the agency wanted to assign this role to Noorani for some time now.

Deepa Krishnan now moves to Mumbai from Bangalore. Her new role in Mumbai is still under discussion. But it is learnt that she will play a very important role in Lowe’s regional business, in addition to working with Jaleel on some brands in Mumbai and the South.

In the Bangalore division, Rajesh Ramaswamy and Abhijit Ghosh will be the Creative Heads, in addition to working on brands in Chennai. They will work closely with Jaleel.

Ashwin Varkey has been elevated to Group Creative Director and will work closely with Iyer. Meanwhile, Tasneem Ali will continue to head D Cell, Axe and Rexona. She, too, will work closely with Iyer.
