LiveMedia ropes in Vijay Koshy as Senior VP, Revenue and Alliances

LiveMedia, one of India’s largest digital out-of-home media company, has appointed Vijay Koshy as Senior Vice President (Revenue and Alliances). Koshy would be based in Mumbai and would spearhead the company’s efforts to further consolidate its position and revenues. Prior to this, Koshy was Head of Sales at Sony Pix and AXN. He had joined Sony in 2005 from ESS to look into both sales and marketing of its English channels – AXN and Animax.

Koshy has spent over 18 years in the media industry and brings with him experience spanning media planning, buying and revenue responsibilities across companies like Lintas, GroupM, Star TV and ESPN.

On Koshy’s appointment, Rajan Mehta, Founder and CEO, LiveMedia, said, “We are very pleased to have Koshy with us as he fills an important role that should help us steer the company and this industry to greater heights. His understanding of consumer behaviour, changing lifestyles and changing media consumptions habits should help us provide better value to our advertisers.”

LiveMedia is a three-year old digital OOH media company funded by DFJ and Bay Partners out of Silicon Valley and also Samsung out of Korea. It is said to be the largest player in the digital OOH space with over three times the number of locations, where it has installed large, high quality LCD screens.
