Lintas Media Group Delhi has been in the thick of action in the last couple of years, bagging new business wins worth Rs 400 crore. To handle this, there have been a lot of reinforcements on the personnel front.
It began with Radhika Sidhu joining in from Mindshare as Planning Head for the Maruti business. This has been followed up with the recent inclusion of Abhishek Jain as a Senior Buying Partner to the Delhi office, primarily on the Maruti account. Jain moves from MPG, where he was handling all the buying for the non-Reckitt part of the Delhi office. He brings with him 14 years of planning and buying experience, across varied accounts, primarily consumer durables like Samsung and HP.
Vijay Subramaniam, a seasoned strategic planning and analytics resource, had been transferred from LMG’s Bangalore office to Delhi recently, to add muscle to the planning product of LMG Delhi. He is responsible for training and for raising the bar on the planning front, and is also a great resource on new business pitches.
Meanwhile, other new resources include Ankur Agarwal, who is re-joining his old Sony Electronics team to handle planning. This team is headed by Ankur Bhartiya, a key business head in the LMG Delhi office. Bhartiya led the team to win the Religare and Expedia accounts for the office, among several others.
The third business team jointly headed by Ashok Dhadwal and Kavita Sharma has also had several new members to handle the Voltas and Intex accounts that they won this year, apart from their existing businesses.
Sudha Natrajan, President & COO, LMG, noted that 2009 and 2010 had been two good years for LMG Delhi, and was confident that the best was yet to come in 2011.
