Kushal Sanghvi comes on board StratosHear as Exec Director – Biz Development, Media & Alliances

Kushal Sanghvi has joined StratosHear as Executive Director - Business Development, Media and Alliances. He came on board on April 7, 2010 and is in the process of settling in. In his new role, Sanghvi will be responsible for forging various alliances with telecom companies in terms of some of the interesting products that the company is coming out with, and at the same time create a valuable ecosystem by engaging with brands to leverage on these products, thereby creating some interesting and unique advertising solutions on the mobile media space.

He will also be responsible for growing teams, growing offices and would be leading the business development, media and alliances role globally.

On joining StratosHear, Sanghvi said, “It is a challenging role and especially in the mobile space, that is the fastest growing year on year, and with the 3G auctions around the corner a lot would change. We would like to be part of growth change-enablers in the mobile advertising space.”

Sanghvi moves from Media Contacts, where he was Managing Director. In his last assignment, he was responsible for setting up the Havas Digital office in India across different cities and grew people, profits and brands in the new media space. He had worked for a variety of brands, including HCL, KLM, Air France, Dell, Sandisk, Reckitt Benckiser, Bank of Baroda, Carlsberg, Radico, Mitsubishi, Voltas, Jockey, Hyundai, Cap Gemini, Symantec, Turner, UTV, and BNP Paribas, to name a few.

Sanghvi has been in field of media for over 15 years and has been an advertiser-client, on the agency side and also on the media/ publisher side. He has been in the new media space since the earliest days of the email in of 1996-97 and has been a part of the founding and start-up team at, where he had played various roles and worked with various brands and had set up teams and various products.

Later on, he was also part of The Times of India Group, Fremantle India, where he had launched ‘Indian Idol’ on Sony, and was then with Reliance ADAG.
