Kunal Ahooja appointed CEO of Mobile Phones Division of Spice Net

Kunal Ahooja, who recently quit as Vice-President & Head of Telecom at Samsung India Electronics Ltd, has been appointed CEO of the new mobile phone business division of Spice Net Ltd, a computer hardware, related peripherals and communication company. It is a part of the diversified Mcorpglobal industrial conglomerate.

Ahooja, who was Sales Head at Nokia India prior to his stint with Samsung, has over 10 years' experience in the mobile phone industry. "India is one of the fastest growing markets for mobile phones in the world. Spice Net is endeavouring to make a significant niche for itself in this challenging market. We will shortly introduce a range of mobile phones, which will definitely appeal to customers. We are also in the process of setting up manufacturing unit at Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, and we look forward to star rolling out phones from the unit this year, " said Ahooja.

Spice Net Ltd also has a new Chairman Radha Krishna Pandey. Pandey is a law graduate and a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and has extensive experience of corporate administration and financial management. He has been an Executive Director of the Delhi Stock Exchange Association Limited.
