Kapil Dhawan and Arnab Chatterjee to join VGC as Creative Directors

As part of the expansion mode and beefing up its creative team, Vyas Gianetti Creative has appointed Kapil Dhawan and Arnab Chatterjee as Creative Directors at Delhi. They both will be reporting to Anjan Roy, Branch Head, Vyas Gianetti Creative Delhi. Dhawan and Chatterjee have moved from Everest where they had held the post of Creative Directors for a year.

Dhawan and Chatterjee worked together at TBWA and Mudra. Both of them joined Mudra in 2003, where they joined as Associate Creative Directors. After a year, they were both elevated to the post of Creative Director. The duo have had several national and international accolades coming by their way — notable among them were awards won at the New York Festivals and One Shows, and a solitary Clio.

Dhawan started his career with Mudra then moved to Capital Advertising as a Copywriter. A year later, he moved to TBWA. On the other hand, Chatterjee began his career with Grey Worldwide where he spent three years, and moved out as Art Director.

“We appointed both of them as they are experienced and senior people in the industry. The business is growing along with the agency. We wanted to make the experience richer for clients, as regular interaction takes place between the client and agency these days. Both Dhawan and Chatterjee bring with them rich and diverse band of experiences and creative recognitions. Together they have worked on leading clients like Dabur, Unitech, DLF, Godfrey Phillips, Turner, Samsung and The India Today Group. Exciting and energetic is a good combination and when you add experience, it’s potent. This is just the right mix for VGC in this growth phase,” said Roy. Sanjay Sipahimalani, Executive Creative Director, VGC Delhi, adds, “I’m delighted that Kapil and Arnab are on board, as their talent and experience are matched by their passion to create excellent work, which is good news for all VGC clients.” Additionally, as a part of its growth plan, the agency has recently moved to a bigger office at Global Business Park, Gurgaon. The agency is in process of appointing junior and middle level people in its Gurgaon office.
