Jupiter Entertainment Ventures rejigs senior management team

Jupiter Entertainment Ventures (JEV), the parent company of Radio Indigo and The Bengaluru Pages magazine, has rejigged its senior management team. K Sanjay Prabhu, COO, Radio Indigo, and Publisher, Bengaluru Pages, has been elevated to the position of Managing Director. He will now take on the overall responsibility of the two companies. Jayyant Bhokare has been appointed as COO of Media, Events and Contract Marketing.

Commenting on Bhokare’s appointment, Prabhu said, “I’m delighted to welcome Jayyant on board. Radio Indigo has consistently built on a distinct, affluent and an upmarket audience base. With programming innovations and customised solutions for clients, Indigo has made it to Elle’s Hot 100 of 2007. The Bengaluru Pages, with a superior editorial team, is by far the most qualitative peek into Bangalore. Jayyant’s entry into the team will further strengthen our potential and elevate the brands to the next level.”

Bhokare’s work experience spans over 14 years in media sales and management, business development across print, television, radio, digital and outdoor medium. Prior to joining JEV, Bhokare was with Adlabs Films Ltd as VP-Business Development, where he developed several business verticals such as Big Street, Big Reach, etc., and worked on international expansion. He had also worked with Star India, where he was a part of the KBC sales team and served as the National Sales Head of Radio City. Bhokare has previously worked with Bennett & Coleman Co Ltd and Tata Press.

On his new role, Bhokare said, “I’m very excited to be part of JEV. With two different verticals – print and radio – JEV offers a bigger platform for creative solutions. For an advertiser, there’s much potential to elevate their campaign reach if integrated well.”

The positioning of these senior business executives is part of JEV’s strategy to drive measurable and sustained business growth.
