Junji Sumitani has been appointed Sales Director, South East Asia for CNN Advertising Sales. The announcement as per an official communiqué was made by William Hsu, Vice President, CNN Advertising Sales for the Asia Pacific.
In essence this expands his responsibilities. Based in Singapore, Sumitani will oversee advertising sales for CNN International and its interactive contents in South East Asia and manage the news advertising sales representatives for this region.
Previously an account director for CNN International advertising sales for Singapore and Thailand, Sumitani joined Turner in 1995 as account coordinator with Network Operations and has spent the last six years with CNN advertising sales team in Singapore.
