Jayant Kochar joins Images Group as Group Director & CEO

Jayant Kochar, one of the pioneers of the retail industry, has merged his strategic consulting practice with the Images Group, and has taken on the position of Group Director & CEO of Images. Kochar is credited with launching Lacoste in India and with creating the cafe revolution when he conceptualised and started the Barista chain. Since then, he has managed retail consultancy Go Fish Retail Solutions.

Founded in 1992 by Amitabh Taneja, the Images Group is a primary driver of the organised retail revolution in India. Its various channels include B2B magazines, digital media, conferences and events that shape the direction of the industry, Research & Analytics, training, etc. Images facilitates the profitable growth of all organised retail categories, including Food & Grocery, Fashion, Home, Food Service, Shoes & Accessories, Health & Beauty, etc.

With the expansion of its management team, Images will now boast one of the strongest groups of retail professionals, who will undertake various new initiatives to assist retailers, including Strategic Consulting, Franchising, Sourcing & Merchandising, Digital Communication & Networking, and knowledge dissemination.
