Ogilvy & Mather’s GBM, a group of senior leaders who manage and grow the agency’s portfolio of global clients around the world, has appointed Jaime Prieto as Director of Global Brand Management.
Prieto is relocating from Paris, where he is currently President & CEO of Y&R EMEA, to join his new post with Ogilvy at the agency’s global headquarters in New York. He took charge from July 18, 2011.
Prieto is no stranger to Ogilvy, having previously spent 17 years with the agency. His last position at Ogilvy, before he left in 2006 was Senior Partner, Worldwide Executive Group Director. During his Ogilvy tenure, he held senior management posts in New York, Hong Kong, Singapore, Mexico and Los Angeles and worked with the agency’s largest brands including American Express, Coca-Cola Kimberly-Clark and Unilever. While in Asia, he led Global Brand Management for the region.
