Jaideep Shergill made CEO of Hanmer MS&L India

MS&LGroup has promoted Jaideep Shergill, a 10-year veteran and founding member of Hanmer MS&L, to CEO of Hanmer MS&L India, effective immediately.

Most recently, Shergill had served as Partner and Head of the PR, Digital and Events division of Hanmer MS&L India. During his tenure, the PR division of Hanmer MS&L has grown from just five staff to more than 400 across eight offices in India. His management of top global and Indian brand campaigns across corporate communications, financial and investor relations, consumer lifestyle and employee communications has included the launch of more than 500 new brands in the Indian market and activation programs reaching more than 100 Indian cities.

In this new role, Shergill embarks on an ambitious plan to expand Hanmer MS&L’s expertise in specialty communications service areas, including social media marketing, financial and investor relations, crisis and issues management, and employee communications. This will include the development of several innovative communications practices and tools in conjunction with MS&LGroup global network thought leaders.

Sunil Gautam, Founder of Hanmer MS&L India, remarked, “Jaideep is one of, if not the most, dynamic individuals in the Indian PR and marketing scene today. As anyone who works with him will know, his relentless drive and insight into India’s complex communications environment is an inspiration to us all.”

Shergill’s background includes more than 15 years in business and communications. Prior to joining Hanmer MS&L, he was with Clea, one of India’s first financial advertising and PR agencies and in the banking sector before that. He also holds a masters degree in international business.

Shergill commented, “This is a great time for us at MS&LGroup. A number of exciting initiatives are being undertaken across the globe and India is one of the key markets for MS&LGroup. In this context, my new role will be challenging and I look forward to supporting groundbreaking work over the the coming months and years.
