Indrajit Sen, COO, Jagran Engage, has put in his papers and is heading to Stroer Media, a German company that is the fifth largest out-of-home media company in the world. At Stroer Media, Sen would be launching activities for the company in India as Country Head and CEO. He will be based in Mumbai where company is launching its operations. Stroer Media also has one of the largest numbers of patents and awards for outdoor media technology and designs.
Sen said, “I am glad to have got the opportunity to work for a global major in the field that I am in, and particularly a company that is admired for its technology and rapid growth. Jagran Engage is well established already. In any case, I continue to associate with them because of our deep relations with the Jagran family. And you never know, the future may be even brighter for both Stroer and Engage.”
Sen began his career in brand marketing and sales in various categories, and has had a short stint in international marketing as well, in a career span of 31 years. He has been in media since 1990; first as Regional Head of The Times of India Group’s Response Department for about 10 years, followed by six years as President of Primesite, the OOH specialist agency of Mudra Communications. In early 2006, he started Jagran Engage, the OOH media solutions division of the Dainik Jagran Group, as COO and Business Head. According to Sen, the Jagran Engage experience has given him a deep understanding of the media business from the sellers’ and buyers’ perspectives, and that gave him a unique edge.
