Intellect’s Premjeet Sodhi takes over as Head of Initiative, as Kartik Iyer moves on

Lintas Media Group is seeing some changes at its senior management level. Premjeet Sodhi, the Senior Vice-President and Head of Intellect, has been elevated to the position of Head of Initiative and will be relocating to Delhi. The development follows Initiative President, Kartik Iyer’s decision to move to Active International India. Sodhi will be taking over his new position from November 1.

Confirming the development, Lynn De Souza, Director, Lintas Media Group, said, “With Sodhi taking over as Head of Initiative, we are sure that he will bring in significant improvement in strategic and planning inputs in media in the Delhi market. I have been grooming him for the past two years for this role, where he was even sent for trainings abroad.”

She further said, “The Delhi market is important because of its business approach, which is unique in its own way and requires intellectual rigour, which Sodhi brings on board.”

Talking about his new assignment, Sodhi said, “As the Head of Initiative, besides heading the business, the focus area would be to improve the quality of inputs in the strategic planning area.”

He summed up his stint at Intellect as an enriching experience where he actually learnt the ropes of strategic media planning after having spent years in market research.

Sodhi holds an MBA from IRMA, Gujarat, and has a varied experience spanning retail, technology, and finance sectors, and has controlled and managed various tools at Intellect. He has spent some years at MRUC (Media Research Users Council) and has been with the Lintas Media Group for past four years.
