Innocean Worldwide brings in Vikram Banerji for account planning function

Innocean Worldwide India has roped in Vikram Banerji for its account planning function. Banerji replaces Sujith Sudhakaran, who had quit the agency as AVP - Planning to join DraftFCB. Banerji, who joins Innocean from January 2010 as Senior Manager - Strategic Planning, has eight years’ experience as an Analyst across a spectrum of businesses.

Commenting on Banerji’s appointment, Vivek Srivastava, Joint MD, Innocean, said, “Vikram is a sure shot addition to our strengths. We are sure his varied background in Research & Analytical techniques will be of great help to us and play a vital role in sharpening our briefs with his take on insights. He will also be involved with our Creative & Digital teams in helping our clients explore the emerging digital frontiers too.”

On his new role, Banerji said, “I am looking at a heightened level of activity, given the varied profile of clients at Innocean and given the willingness of the agency to invest in process of brand planning. I would see my role as that of enabler of sound brand ideas in the context of consumer needs.”

After his initial professional stint in the US with Envizion Corporation as Business Analyst, Banerji took a break from his job to pursue his MBA from FMS , University of Delhi. Thereafter, he worked with Sharekhan as an Equity Analyst, ABN Amro in corporate banking, and Foresight Communication as Senior Account Planner.
