Close on the heels of an enhanced role for its anchor client Hyundai Motors and new business gains, Innocean is ramping up its human resources. The major thrust of the new recruitments is in the creative department.
Joining Innocean later in June would be Devendra Mehta as Senior Creative Director. His previous assignment was with Dentsu as Creative Director. Mehta had earlier worked with Lowe, Mudra, Grey and Rediffusion in a career spanning 14 years.
“I see in Innocean an opportunity to do some trail-blazing work in the category of cars, which is on the boil these days with a bunch of good team-players,” Mehta said.
Strengthening the team further is Kavita Ojha, who moves from Euro-RSCG, and Trideep Saha, who moves from Kaaps, an agency specialising in B2B communication. Both are joining as Art Group Heads.

Alongside the agency is shoring up the personnel in account management and strategic planning functions as well. “Expect some more big news from us in a while,” Srivastava added.
Innocean Worldwide in its third year of operations and has today capitalised a billing base of Rs 150-160 crore and has ambitious growth plans.
