Innocean Worldwide, the in-house creative agency of Korea’s Hyundai Motor Corporation, has appointed Shubha Menon as Executive Creative Director. “We welcome Shubha on board and value her experience. I am sure it will take us further,” said YK Choi Managing Director, Innocean Worldwide. Menon takes over from Varun Arora who has moved on from Innocean to work in the domain of television production.
Prior to taking up her new assignment, Menon was Creative Director with Rediffusion, Delhi. She has also served as the Unit Creative Director at Lowe, Delhi in addition to a stint with Contract. Some of the notable brands she has handled include Airtel Broadband, Xerox, Indian Army, Amway, Maruti Suzuki, ITC Wills Apparel, Nestle, LG and Dabur.

Commenting on Arora’s departure, Vivek Srivastava, Executive Director, Innocean Worldwide said, “We value Varun’s contribution in the formative year of Innocean and will miss his presence.”
The agency is working on strengthening its creative team given its focus on new business growth and is expanding its geographical presence. Outlining the bigger picture, Srivastava said, “We are looking at enhancing our headcount to tackle new business growth that we anticipate as well as consolidate our strengths. The challenge before us is to take the lead in improving the creative standards of automobile category and Shubha, along with Creative Directors Saurabh Dasgupta and Mani Jayaram, will work towards accomplishing this.”
