Initiative Media's Mausumi Kar joins MPG Delhi as Vice-President

Mausumi Kar has joined MPG Delhi as Vice-President. She will be joining the organisation from November 21. Confirming her new appointment, Kar said, "I am happy to head the Delhi branch of MPG and take up the responsibility of heading the branch. I will be looking after planning, buying, etc, of the whole media agency."

Kar's last stint was with Initiative Media as Associate-VP. She was with the agency for the last four-and-a-half years, where she was the head of planning for the Maruti account for the last two years. Prior to that she was working on other businesses like Escotel, Siemens mobile phones, Cisco, and Oriental Insurance among others.

In her 13-year career, Kar has also worked in McCann and Enterprise Nexus.
