India Today Group ropes in Maxim’s Monica Kubba

After a brief stint of one year and three months with Media Transasia’s men’s magazine Maxim, Monica Kubba has now moved on to the India Today Group as the General Manager – Impact.

Prior to Maxim, Kubba had a short stint with Marie Claire as the General Manager – North wherein she was responsible for conceptualising and executing marketing, branding and communication programmes for business start-ups and established organisations.

Commenting on her new role, Kubba shared with exchange4media, “India Today is the most respected of media houses with a huge plethora of brands under its umbrella. The playing field is huge; hence, I feel there is a lot of opportunity and scope. I have joined them as a General Manager –Impact for the Merged Entity (India Today, Business Today and Reader’s Digest).”

Kubba began her career with The Times of India in 1997 as Deputy Manager. Her role at TOI involved looking at the growth of Delhi Times. She managed the launch of South Delhi Plus in 2002.


Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
