Sony Entertainment Television has some changes in its top management. The organisation has decided to elevate Rohit Gupta to be President, Network Sales, Licensing and Telephony. Hitherto, he was EVP for Sales and Revenue Management. This change takes place with immediate effect.

With this development, he is given the charge of other revenue streams of licensing and telephony. The two streams are headed by Kaushal Modi, who will report to Gupta. An internal mailer has been sent to SET officials, in which Kunal Dasgupta quoted: “It gives me great pleasure to make this announcement. Gupta has been with the company for more than five years and has built the network sales team and contributed to the revenues year-on-year.”

On his part, Gupta is all geared for the challenges where he has to focus on these additional revenue streams of the group.
