The BharatMatrimony Group has appointed P Gopalakrishnan as Chief Marketing Officer. Prior to joining BharatMatrimony, Gopalakrishnan was with Cavinkare Pvt. Ltd as Vice-President, International Business. He comes with over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, SBU management, and international business operations.

”Gopalakrishnan has built brands, business and teams in his career spanning multiple industries. I am sure that his extensive experience coupled with his analytical expertise will be a tremendous asset to the BharatMatrimony Group as we move forward in our business. We are happy to have him in our team,” said Murugavel Janakiraman, Founder and CEO, BharatMatrimony Group.

At BharatMatrimony, Gopalakrishnan will be responsible for the marketing activities for all the portals, including product management. He will be closely associated with Janakiraman to drive the company's vision, strategies and operations.

Gopalakrishnan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from College of Engineering, Guindy in Chennai, and has done his MBA from IIM Kolkata with specialisation in Marketing.
