Tuhin Mishra has decided to move on after a successful two-year stint with IMG/TWI where he was General Manager (Sales). He is joining India’s first in-store TV network, Tag Media Network, as Senior Vice-President, Sales and Marketing.
Commenting on his decision, Mishra said, “In-store television is clearly the next big media revolution that is happening in our country, and with the retail explosion happening all over, retail industry is only getting more organised.”
He further said that Tag Media Network was the only retail network in the country that operated on a complete 360-degree approach and that reached the consumers when they were in the buying mode. Talking further about the company, Mishra stressed that his new company was not another electronic signage like other players in the market.
“We are extremely pleased to have Tuhin Mishra on board. His knowledge of media and his strategic abilities will be of great asset to TAG Media and our advertisers,” said Dan Ginsburg, CEO, Tag Media Network.
At IMG, Mishra worked in areas like sponsorship sales for their premier events Lakme Fashion Week, Chennai Open Tennis, Speedster, golf course design, licensing, new media sales and TV content sales.
Prior to IMG, Mishra worked with Turner International, where he handled top kids channels Cartoon Network and POGO. Before Turner, Mishra also had around four years of media planning stint with GroupM (MindShare) and Universal McCann, where he had worked with clients like Pepsi, GSK and Nestle.
