HP’s Gul Raj Bhatia joins Wyeth Consumer Healthcare as Country Manager

Gul Raj Bhatia has quit HP, where he was Country Marketing Manager, Imaging and Printing Group, to join Wyeth Consumer Healthcare as Country Manager. In his new role, Bhatia will be primarily looking at growing the business across the existing brands and also explore possible growth opportunities.

Commenting on his new assignment, Bhatia said, “There are challenges similar to the FMCG sector in consumer healthcare sector as there are various OTC products. Also, this category offers a lot of growth potential that needs to be tapped. My past experiences with Cadbury India, where I had spent close to 13 years in various roles in sales and marketing, will come in handy in my current role.”

Besides HP and Cadbury India, Bhatia has also worked with NIIT, where he was spearheading the marketing of NIIT’s India Education Business.

Summing up his experience at HP, Bhatia said, “It was an immense learning experience where HP had to sustain its leadership in the printing and imaging business category in the face of strong competition.”

Wyeth Consumer Healthcare is a leader in research, development, manufacturing, and marketing of a broad range of consumer health care products operating in over 65 countries.
