Hemant Jain joins Radio City as VP, Strategic Planning & Alternate Revenue

Radio City has appointed Hemant Jain as Vice President – Strategic Planning and Alternate Revenue. Jain, in his last assignment, was with Reliance World (formerly Reliance Web World) as National Head - Brand Management & Marketing Services, where he spent close to five years setting up a successful personal services and telecom retail business model.

Jain will be the chief architect of Radio City’s growth plans, helping redefine systems and processes, forging strategic alliances and focusing on convergence of radio across multiple media platforms, which include mobile, internet, broadband, out-of-home, etc.

Jain has over 12 years of ‘fast-paced’ experience in sales and marketing with leading organisations across a variety of industry verticals, which include telecom, retail, media and advertising, he has gained diverse knowledge across various streams. An early entrant in the Internet operations way back in 1997, Jain also has hands on experience in setting up successful interactive/digital media divisions for leading advertising agencies.

During his tenure with new media, he has worked closely with some of the leading corporates in India and abroad, consulting them on formulating online business models, online brand building, interactive marketing and e-CRM.

Said Jain, “I am really excited about joining Radio City’s talented and vibrant team. Radio is in the booming phase with many new entrants there has been a rapid growth in the industry. It’s thrilling to be part of an organisation, which is all set to sustain and grow its leadership position. It will be really challenging to guide Radio City to a knowledge- driven, process oriented organisation.”

Since our shift to 91.1 frequency, we have rolled up our sleeves and I am delighted to have Hemant join us, as this is the kind of leadership we require to keep Radio City on the expansion path.”

Music Broadcast Pvt Ltd promoted Radio City has stations in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Chennai and Jaipur. In the second phase of FM radio expansion, Radio City has bagged the licences for 16 more cities.
