Hanoz Mogrelia has put in his papers at Saatchi & Saatchi as Creative Director after a decade-long stint with the agency. He is joining DDB Mudra, where he will be working closely with NCD Rajeev Raja. Mogrelia will be based out of Mumbai.
Neither Mogrelia nor officials from Saatchi & Saatchi or DDB Mudra were available for comments at the time of filing the report. However, industry sources close to development confirmed that Mogrelia was on his way to DDB Mudra.
Mogrelia has over 15 years’ experience in the advertising business, of which he has spent 10 years with Saatchi & Saatchi. Of these 10 years, he has spent half of it as Associate Creative Director and the rest as Creative Director. In his decade-long stint with the agency, he has worked on practically all the businesses of Saatchi & Saatchi’s Mumbai branch.
Mogrelia had joined Vyas Giannetti Creative Mumbai for a very brief stint in 2008, but returned to Saatchi & Saatchi India in less than a month.
P&G being one the key clients of Saatchi & Saatchi India, Mogrelia played a key role for the launch of Pampers and Olay in India. He was also associated with the launch of other variants under Olay such as Olay Natural White.
Besides P&G, he had worked on the launch and creation of new categories like Playwin online lotteries with ‘Khelo India Khelo’ and ‘Apne number dala kya’ campaigns; branded fuels like Speed, which featured Narain Karthikeyan and later on Mahendra Singh Dhoni and has worked on the relaunch of Tetley in India. This was done with the launch of Tetley flavoured teabags – the ‘Chai main twist, life main twist’ series.
Apart from this, he has handled a wide variety of clients, including HDFC Mutual Fund, which involved various divisions like home loans, rural banking and NRI banking. Additionally, Mogrelia has also worked on both the IPOs of ICICI Bank and large businesses of Bharat Petroleum.
