Greenthumb appoints Tanmay Dasgupta as Director

Tanmay Dasgupta has joined Greenthumb Innovators, a specialised out of home agency from Cartel Outdoor Advertising, as Director.

His last stint was with Selvel as its GM – Sales and Marketing. He spent 18 years with the outdoor advertising company.

On joining Greenthumb Innovators, Dasgupta told exchange4media, “Greenthumb offers a bigger canvas, bigger responsibilities, and I am heading the show here.” He further said, “My key focus here will be to take Greenthumb to the next level.”

Dasgupta began his career with Selvel, starting off with the company’s Kolkata office. He also worked in the outdoor company’s Kanpur and Allahabad offices, before moving on to the Lucknow office as the Branch Manager, where he did extensive work for client Sahara Group. Dasgupta moved to Delhi in 2006 as Selvel’s GM – Sales and Marketing.

Set up eight years ago, Greenthumb Innovators garnered revenue of Rs 17 crore in the last financial year. The agency is headquartered in New Delhi with offices in Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune, Nasik and Visakhapatnam. The agency will be expanding its base to Bangalore, Chennai, Lucknow and Kolkata in the next few months. Cartel Outdoor Advertising is now all set to develop Greenthumb Innovators as a separate vertical.

Greenthumb is handling clients such as Bajaj Auto, Amul Macho and Force Motors, among others. The agency came up with the OOH campaign for the recently launched paper Millennium Post. The agency provides 360-degree advertising solutions that encompass traditional outdoor solutions as well as retail, activation, creative and so on.
