Gopal Krishnan joins Mudra Delhi as Vice President

Gopal Krishnan has been roped in as Vice President for Mudra Delhi. He moves from Rediffusion Y&R, where he was Business Head for Airtel. This is Krishnan’s second stint with Mudra. He will be reporting to Ajay Naqvi , EVP Mudra and Head of Mudra North & East.

Commenting on the movement, Krishnan said, “I am delighted to be back at Mudra, for me this is sort of a homecoming as I started my career here. And after two decades, I am happy to return here with all the knowledge that I have now. My main goal here is to make Mudra a powerhouse of creativity, servicing and planning. I have seen some very good work coming out of the agency, and now it is time to push the envelope and explore new horizons.”

Welcoming Krishnan, Ajay Naqvi , EVP Mudra and Head of Mudra North & East, said, “Gopal is extremely talented, passionate and a person who puts rigour in everything he does. He is extremely people savvy and enjoys the respect of his team, partners and clients alike. I am hoping that with him joining as Vice-President, Mudra Delhi, this office will become even more vibrant. The mandate given to him is to strengthen key client relationships and lead our organic and inorganic growth. We have just about finished setting up a formidable creative team, and our account management function is getting bolstered as we go. Gopal will play a very important role in rallying our creative and planning resources.”

Prior to Rediffusion Y&R, Krishnan was heading Rediffusion Chennai and TBWA\ Chennai. He also has worked with JWT in the past.
