Future Media’s top team in place; Hemant Shah of Madison roped in as COO

The Future Group’s media company, Future Media, has put in place its top management. Hemant Shah, previously with Madison, has been appointed as COO. The company has been selling ad space for its properties across Future Group stores. Future Media also plans to buy and sell media space in other malls and multiplexes across the country.

Along with Shah, Anup Kotekar will take charge as Business Director for Audio-visual medium and V Jaishankar will be Business Director for Visual medium. Kotekar, joining from GroupM, will handle the television and radio business in retail properties. Jaishanker has extensive media selling experience at Zee Group and The Times of India Group.

Commenting on the team, Partho Dasgupta, CEO, Future Media, said, “The diversity in the team is to build in strengths. The changing landscape of consumerism will see all forms of traditional media interacting with consumers in the ambience of consumption.”

Vishakha Singh has been appointed to Head the MaRCom function of Future Media. She was previously news channel Times Now. She has also worked for CNBC and The Times group.

Malvika Narayan, ex-MTV, Sunil Punjabi, ex-UTV, Anish Shah, ex-Infomedia and Times Group, along with Sharda Pillai, ex-Portland, have also joined the company as senior sales team members.

Future Media (India) Ltd. is a part of the Future Group, and is engaged in creating media properties in the Visual, Audio-visual (television and radio) and Print space that can actively engage consumers and provide brands a medium to communicate to consumers.
