Entertainment Network (India) Ltd (ENIL) has beefed up the senior management of Radio Mirchi with Alok Purohit as Business Evangelist, Gautam Shahane as Head of Content Alliances, and Prashant Chacko as Cluster Head-East.

Commenting on the appointments, Nandan Srinath, COO, ENIL, said, “This is an important time for Radio Mirchi as we have recently launched new stations across the country and are now focussed on growing our listener base. We are confident that Alok Purohit, Gautam Shahane and Prashant Chacko would continue to lead Radio Mirchi from strength to strength. With their vast experience and technical expertise, they are sure to provide the leadership required to ensure that Mirchi fully capitalises on the tremendous growth that we anticipate in the radio industry over the next several years.”

Alok Purohit had joined Radio Mirchi in September 2001 as Station Head in Indore. After working at various positions at Radio Mirchi, his last assignment was as Regional Director, Central Region.
