Elvis Sequeira quits Cheil Worldwide Southwest Asia

Elvis Sequeira, who had joined Cheil Worldwide Southwest Asia as the National Creative Director in March this year, has resigned. Industry sources have confirmed the news to exchange4media, though the agency chose not to comment on the development. According to industry sources, Sequeira has already quit the organisation and November 15, 2011 was his last working day at Cheil.

There are strong rumours that he might join his old agency, PerceptH.

It was in March 2011 that Cheil Worldwide had handed over the top job to Sequeira, after Prathap Suthan quit as NCD in October 2010 after a stint of three years. During Sequeira’s stint at the agency, Cheil won businesses like 9.9 Media and the BTL duties for Polaris. It is learnt from the sources that the agency has already started the search for its creative leader once again and head hunters are scouting for a suitable successor to Sequeira.

Prior to joining Cheil, Sequeira was with Good Morning Films as a Director. Before that, he had worked as Vice President and Executive Creative Director with JWT.
