Edipresse Group appoints Malavika Sangghvi as Head of India Bureau

Malavika Sangghvi has been appointed as Head of India Bureau at the Edipresse Group, an international media group headquartered in Lausanne Switzerland. Sangghvi’s mandate is to supply news and information about the India luxury world to nine of the Asia Tatler titles across Asia.

Sangghvi is a well-known journalist with over 30 years’ experience in the field. She has edited the Bombay Times, the Sunday Review (The Times of India Group), worked as India Editor of Harpers and Queen, written for the New York Times and the Sunday Times (UK) and a host of leading titles.

The New York Times once described her as ‘a chronicler of social mores’. She is also a TV and radio broadcaster and has authored two books.

Edipresse’s main activities include newspaper and magazine publishing and digital media. With over 180 magazines, dailies and websites published in 15 countries, the group owns the Asia Tatler titles in China (Hong Kong, Beijing and Macao), Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, Taiwan, Malaysia and Thailand. These magazines are the leading titles in their fields and command enormous prestige and readership.
