Diamond Trading Company (DTC) – the marketing arm of De Beers, has appointed Cherie Tandon Saldanha as Marketing Director, India.
Commenting on her new assignment, Saldanha said, “I look forward to being a part of the DTC team, leveraging my experience, and working towards achieving the common goal set for DTC in India.”
Prior to joining DTC, Saldanha was serving as the President (Marketing), Seagull Group of Companies – a specialist in marketing, advertising and business consultancy. She also worked as General Manager, Marketing at Cadbury Schweppes India and Coca-Cola India.
As the marketing wing of diamond retailing major De Beers, DTC supplies approximately 60 per cent unpolished diamonds to leading diamantaries across the world.
