Deepak Taneja, Associate Vice-President with Innocean, has put in his papers. He is set to join Times Internet Ltd as General Manager-Product Management Group in early August.
Taneja, who brings with him an enriching experience from the advertising business, is now looking at a different portfolio altogether. When contacted by exchange4media, Taneja said, “I am looking forward to a new challenge and I am pretty excited about the new opportunity.”
Speaking on how his experience in the advertising industry would help him in his new assignment, Taneja said, “I hope to leverage my brand planning experience in the new assignment.”
Describing his stint with Innocean as a ‘fruitful’ one, Taneja said, “Innocean gave me the opportunity to understand the market nuances much better, especially in the automobile sector, and gave me a much wider and focused way of approaching things.”
Taneja began his advertising career with Lintas, wherein he spent around four and a half years. He left the agency as Account Group Manager. Prior to taking up his assignment with Innocean, Taneja was with Mudra. During his five-and-a-half-year stint with the agency, he had handled high profile brands like Samsung, Electrolux, HBO, Dabur, Hindustan Motors, and Mitsubishi Lancer, among others.
