Fame Cinemas is soon to get a new Head of Sales and Marketing. Deepak Netram, who is currently with MPG, Mumbai in the capacity of Planning Director will fill in this responsibility from May 3, 2004.
His new job profile will include the position of Head of Marketing and Sales for Fame Cinemas, which includes fame adlabs and other forthcoming properties.
Sharing his reasons for joining a new line of work, he says, “It is a very challenging opportunity for me as it will be a totally new ball game. Sales and Marketing is a new territory I am venturing into and am looking forward to this thrilling experience. I have learnt a lot from MPG and also had the opportunity of working with some wonderful people.”
Referring to the future of multiplexes, he says, “Multiplexes have a bright future as they give you a wider range of entertainment. They are growing popular day by day and that they are well received by the public is indicated by the fact that they are totally packed with people. Multiplexes hold great opportunities for advertisers too. Even on a weekday you can witness at least 2 to 3 ongoing promotions.”
Netram began his career as an intern with Mudra almost 10 years ago, moved to Madison, Enterprise Nexus, MediaCom India, Grey Worldwide, Bangalore and then to MPG as Planning Director.
