Dattu V Hegde quits Sampark PR; joins Concept PR as CEO

Dattu V Hegde has joined Concept Public Relations as CEO. Based in Mumbai, Hegde would be responsible for growing the PR business at Concept. Prior to this appointment, Hegde was associated with Sampark Public Relations for close to seven years as Associate Partner and Director. He was heading the financial practice of the firm.

Commenting on the appointment, Vivek Suchanti, Managing Director, Concept Public Relations, said, “Dattu brings more than two decades of rich experience of working as a senior journalist and later as a PR professional. Concept is reinforcing its senior management team to meet the growing needs of Indian business houses which realise the importance of public relations as an effective communication tool.”

Concept PR has a diversified portfolio of clients. It has been handling a number of IPOs over the past three years. Some of the IPO clients that it handles of late include DLF, apart from Tech Mahindra, GMR Infrastructure, PFC and HDIL.
