Da Vinci Media appoints Mohit Anand as Country Manager

Da Vinci Media GmbH has appointed Mohit Anand as Country Manager for India. Based in New Delhi, Anand will be leading Da Vinci Media’s strategy and business in the region.

Anand was until recently Managing Director of Belkin India, prior to which he spearheaded Channel [v] as Senior Vice President for STAR India. Before that he was Country Manager for Microsoft’s Entertainment and Devices Division in India. He is credited with many key achievements, including leading Belkin to market leadership position in a short span of  three years  and the launch of Xbox360 in the Indian Sub-continent, to name a few.

Commenting on Anand’s appointment, Ferdinand Habsburg, Founder and CEO, Da Vinci Media GmbH said, “With 20 years’ leadership experience in media, interactive entertainment, and consumer businesses, Mohit comes armed with an in-depth, multi-functional expertise essential to develop Da Vinci Media’s developing business opportunity in India.”

Founded in 2007, Da Vinci Media GmbH, with headquarters in Berlin, is an independent media group. The company offers educational TV programming from around the world through the TV channel, Da Vinci Learning, as well as various multimedia educational platforms. 

Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
