CVL Srininvas has been roped in as Director for Private Treaties. Private Treaties is an innovative venture of the Bennett Coleman and Company Ltd, which was set up to leverage the long experience and wide reach of the Times Group to create value for its clients through strategic partnerships.
This effectively involves picking up smaller stakes in companies and offering them branding and favourable advertising deals.
Srinivas has confirmed the development. His last stint was as CEO of SureWaves, a new generation media convergence company, for almost a year. SureWaves is introducing media convergence solutions that facilitate combining TV content with web, out-of-home displays and mobile phones in a unique manner.
He was also with Maxus as CEO, Asia Pacific, for three years. Prior to Maxus, he was with Madison as COO, North and South, for five and a half years. He had also worked with Fulcrum for four years, and Lintas (now Lowe) for a year. Srinivas began his career with the TVS Group in Bangalore, where he spent two years.
