Creativeland Asia has brought on board Harshad Lad to head creative operations and Neville Shah as Creative Director.
Lad brings with him over 17 years of experience from across SME, start-ups and the BTL space. He moves in from C2S, his start-up consultancy aimed to connect consumers to sales with the help of advertising and brand communications. Prior to this, Lad was Vice President at O&M, where he had led a business unit on the HUL skin-care business. He has worked on a variety of brands like Saffola, Kinetic, Ambuja Cement, ITC Expressions, IndianOil ExtraCare, Vimal, Diageo and Timesbank, among others.
Shah has been associated with TBWA, Mudra, JWT, where he had handled brands like SET Max, Standard Chartered Bank, Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance, Dabur, HBO, Philips, BPL Mobile and Wrigley, among others. He is also a professional stand-up comic, with a flair for theatre and writing.
Commenting on the appointments, Sajan Raj Kurup, Founder & Creative Chairman, Creativeland Asia, said, “We are growing rapidly, and it was critical for us to get in senior people with the same kind of beliefs as ours. I have known Harshad for over eight years now. His work ethics are impeccable. His varied experience and his understanding of business and brands are invaluable to us. Above all, he comes with a certain degree of discipline, which we deem important at Creativeland. Neville brings with him as much passion as experience. He is multi-talented and self-driven, and at Creativeland we have seen these qualities take us really far.”
On his new role, Shah said, “It’s good to know I’ll be working with and learning from the most creative bunch of people.”
Lad added here, “To me, Creativeland is a place of like-minds and a very good platform for me to return to holistic brand communications and management. The work, culture, philosophy, along with the people at Creativeland, is the inspiration I thrive on.”
