Digital solutions provider, Connecturf, the parent company of MediaTurf, has made some key senior appointments, with Himanshu Shah being the final addition as the Chief Information Officer. What’s more, the agency has also bagged as many as 12 clients in the last few weeks.
The recent appointments made included that of Abhay Palkar as Group CFO, Anurag Gupta as EVP, L D Sharma as Search and Affiliate Marketing Head, and Praveen Varshnei as Head of the Bangalore Office. All of them will be working closely with CEO V Ramani.
Ramani is also excited about the new accounts that the agency has added in the last few weeks. These include Yes Bank, IOCL, ICICI’s Business Intelligence Unit, Essar Retail and Essar Corporate, Reliance ARC, SBI Mutual Fund, Sify Broadband, Airtel Chennai, Purvankara – a South India construction company, Deals4loans and Ferns and Petals.
Ramani said, “Each of these clients is a key player in the domain they operate in. They are aware of the digital wave building in India and the next level ready to set in. At MediaTurf, we are already geared to ride this wave and we are looking at doing some innovative and clutter breaking work for these brands.”
He said, “With Himanshu, the senior team in now complete and he is really no outsider to the company. In fact, he has worked on the base configurations of some of our tools as part of an outsourcing arrangement. He knows MediaTurf from that angle and really is an original designer for us.”
Shah brings with him over 15 years’ experience in sales and marketing operations, client relationship management and team management across sectors. Prior to Connecturf, he was with Fee Net Direct in London. He has been a planner and strategist with proven track records of consistently increasing the sales / profitability a company.
