Benedict Hayes is joining Communicate 2 as Head of its Enterprise Organic Search Division (SEO). He joins Communicate 2 with more than nine years of enterprise level search experience in the UK market.
In his new role at Communicate 2, Hayes will oversee strategic accounts such as Tata Consultancy Services, Remit2india, HDFC Bank, ICICI Lombard, UTI Mutual Fund, and help Communicate 2 provide SEO strategy to other organisations that receive more than a million visitors per month.
Commenting on Hayes appointment, Vivek Bhargava, Managing Director, Communicate 2, said, “I’m thrilled that Benedict Hayes is joining us. Ben had come to train the Communicate 2 team five years back and stayed with us for 10 days, I knew at that time that Ben will go far in this industry and achieve all the things he has achieved, although I had never imagined that life will come full circle and he will join Communicate2’s Mumbai office.”

Ben’s experience in the strategic digital consulting space shall be invaluable to current clients of Communicate 2.”
Hayes was earlier Account Director at Tamar, the largest organic search agency for the financial sector in the UK and managed search for clients such as Citibank, Royal Bank of Scotland, Allianz, and Egg.com. He has assisted in flagship campaigns such as Tesco Car Insurance, where he helped increase car insurance quotes by 366 per cent. He also played a pivotal role in the rise of ‘Compare the Market’ online.
Prior to Tamar, Hayes had extensively worked in the affiliate marketing industry and ran the PPC operations of Web Diversity for five years, one of the leading PPC companies of the UK (acquired by Think Partnership). He was one of the first Google Adwords Qualified professionals as well as the Yahoo Search Ambassador in the UK.
