Chetan Ahuja roped in as General Manager, TME Mumbai

TME Mumbai has appointed Chetan Ahuja as General Manager, industry sources have confirmed. He took charge from January 17, 2011. Prior to this, Ahuja was with Media Directions.

Ahuja has around 13 years of experience in the media industry. He had started his career with M:Ideas as a Media Planner, where he got his initial training on media from Shripad Kulkarni. He has a vast experience, having worked with JWT – Media Vision for three years on Bajaj Auto, DSP Merrill Lynch and Parle; Triton on Venky’s, Novino Batteries, Eureka Forbes and Pidilite; Lodestar, where he worked on Birla White Cement, Mahindra Tractors and so on, before moving on to the India Today Group and Bhaskar Group, handling account planning.

TME Mumbai is a division of Rediffusion Y&R, an advertising agency that was established in 1974.TME is one of the top five media agencies in the country in terms of media volumes and is ranked among the top three media agencies in the AC Nielsen Media Agency Equity Track 2006. TME is headquartered in Mumbai with fully functional offices in Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata and Chennai.
