Cheil Communications beefs up media team

Bhavana Mittal, who was working with Initiative, the media arm of Lowe, has joined Cheil Communications as Associate Media Director. Talking to exchange4media.com, she said, “It all happened in a rush. It was just that the young, energetic team of Cheil lured me to make the move. At Cheil I would be working in close conjunction with the client as a partner in business, rather than as an agency”.

Mittal exudes an ever-exploring spirit for the profession, indeed something she has been identified with for six years now. Prior to Lowe, where she was handling the media duties for Revlon and Nestle, she worked with WPP, taking care of the media duties for Electrolux.

Sharing her new passion for Samsung, Bhavana said, “I will be taking care of the mobile and IT divisions of Samsung. Samsung is a relatively young and experimental brand, in terms of media association. Here, at Cheil, I will have a lot of liberty in handling the brand ”.
