Charles Cadell, CEO Lowe Lintas quits; Joseph George takes over from Jan 3, 2010

Charles Cadell, CEO, Lowe Lintas India, is completing his term on December 31, 2010. In conversation with exchange4media.com he informed he would be moving out of Lowe when his term ends on December 31, 2010.

Joseph George, who has been Deputy CEO, would assume CEO office on January 3, 2011. The succession plan was announced last year.

Cadell will be moving out of India and will be taking another assignment overseas. He didn’t divulge the details, but confirmed that he will continue to be in advertising.

He said, “This is not a sudden development as we have been preparing for this for sometime now. The plans are in place and it is an orderly process. I have had a fabulous time working in India with Lowe and am happy to leave the organisation when it is doing good, and also in the able hands of Joseph. I do hope to come to India at some stage later and be a part of the Indian advertising industry.”
