Channel News Asia appoints Siddharth Srivastava as country manager

Channel News Asia, a telly channel under the banner of Media Corp News Intl Pte, has appointed Siddharth Srivastava as its Country Manager. Based in India, Srivastava would be responsible for marketing and distributing the channel in South Asia and the Middle East.

Prior to this, Srivastava was serving as the Senior Distribution Manager for TV Live India Pte, where he launched the Nepal 1 Channel and successfully increased its penetration in India, Nepal and Bhutan. He has also worked with Jain TV as distribution manager at all-India level.

Channel News Asia is an Asian TV News channel providing news and information on global developments with Asian perspectives. Headquartered in Singapore, Channel News Asia reports from the major Asian and key Western cities, including New York, Washington DC, London and Moscow. Its programming is pan-Asian in content and style, going beyond the headlines to analyse key developments. The group aims to be the channel of choice for Asian professionals who want objective, balanced information.
